Love Lifted

Love Lifted

Lifted up where eagles fly.
To soar above it all.
Within the cradle of God's breath.
No fear of heights. No way to fall.
Below lies nature's fading beauty.
As sunset gathers up the light.
From across the mountains and the valleys.
To where the oceans kiss the skies.
And there suspended for a moment.
With wonder sparkling in the eyes.
Words form in a blink of silence.
Can I Lord? Father may I?
Then comes embrace of endless joy.
Arms wrap tight around the soul.
And just above the water's surface.
A smile doth form from love's sure hold.
Finger tips then lightly trace.
Forever, on a glass smooth sea.
Tis then the breath of life is drawn.
Through Jesus unto eternity.
