       Take a Little Time

You don't have to be a millionare.

It don't have to be ten feet tall.

Get any one that you can get.

You just need a tree that's all.

Decorate it how you want to.

Tinsel, lights, just anything.

Then sit back and take a little time.

A little time to let the heart sing.

For I'm sure within that Christmas tree

more will be there than eyes behold.

There'll be memories of the days gone by.

And it's these that warm the soul.

Tis true the past can never return.

But love once shared will always be.

Just as that Christmas of long ago

when God's Son lit up eternity.
