I Am

I am a smile in the morning,
a frown at mid morning,
a scowl at midday,
a sigh at afternoon,
Hands raised in praise
and thanksgiving
For another day;
Evening,
a prayer and a smile.

I am a frown in the morning,
a smile at mid morning,
a laugh at midday,
a sigh at afternoon,
Hands raised in praise
and thanksgiving
For another day;
Evening,
a prayer and a smile.

I am a sigh in the morning,
a smile at mid morning,
a laugh at midday,
a scowl at afternoon,
Hands raised in praise
and thanksgiving
For another day;
Evening,
a prayer and a smile.
