T hank you Lord for this brand new day
H allelujah is the fitting praise today
A s your blessings come my way
N ow and forever your praises I sing
K ind and compassionate Lord and loving
S low to anger and ever forgiving
G iven to us what we need from your bounty
I ncrease in us your grace aplenty
V ehement a knee bowed ever so gently
I n offering a prayer to the One who is worthy
N ever surrender to doubt and despair
G lory to God Father Son and Holy Spirit fill the air
