Nothing Of Worth

He said, do this in memory of me.

He wants us to remember him,

As a friend, called to his table,

To share a meal with him.

He promised, I will never leave you,

Or forsake you.

He wants us to trust in him.

I will send to you an advocate.

He wants to be a part of our lives.

Do we want him in our lives?

We need to think and think again,

About his sacrifice of love,

His forgiveness, mercy, and  grace.

For without him,

We are nothing of worth.
