A Night So Holy
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

It was a night Holy

When the maiden with child
And the carpenter: her betrothed
Asked of the innkeeper
“Is there room for us?”

It was a night Holy...

There in the stable
Oxen and donkey both
Nibbled the hay so sweet
Their soulful eyes watched.

It was a night Holy...

As a prophecy was fullfilled
About a Wonderful Saviour
A boy child - Jesus:
Daystar: to light the world.

It was a night Holy...

The star that shone so bright
Caused the Magi three
To mount their camels bearing gifts
They set at the feet of Majesty.

It was a night Holy...

The shepherds stood and listened
To voices angelic
As they sang of God’s glory
Telling of the Son of the Most High.

It was a night Holy...

In Bethlehem city
Dawned into a new day promised--
Of Peace and Love and Truth
And we echoes of his blessings are.
