He Hears Our Prayers

He Hears Our Prayers

We should submit to the one true God

Worship Him in every possible way

Be honest and approach our God

Prayer and fasting is the way

The consequences of sin

He reckons we will fail Him

But through His mercy we win

Forgiveness and reconcile to Him

Those forty days in the wilderness

Bereft with evil's false promises

Jesus won in prayerfulness

Merit of God's promises

God's protection stays

With them who will seek Him

Unfailing mercy on those He lays

Who would wholeheartedly trust in Him
