“Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up” John 2:19

They set out to embalm him
But narry could they contain him
For already he had arisen
As it had been long ago written

Angels two; they met at the tomb
Gave not a message of doom
Jesus Christ, that temple
Arose he indestructible

It was the first day of the week
When the Lord’s body they did seek
The linen cloths were in awry
And the stone had been rolled away

In the dark of dawn
This resurrection mystery honed

They Set Out gillena cox 2004
