A Cloak
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

By Gillena Cox
Other Poems by Gillena Cox

1 Cor 13:13 three things that last: faith, hope and love; and the greatest of these is love.

A Cloak

A cloak of love
to protect from
the cold ravishes of selfishness.

Warming hearts
to kindness, and
a delight in right values.

Covering the naked
against vulnerabilities
of conceited care.

Thus wrapped and cuddled
like a child
who is well received.

A Cloak (c)2003 gillena cox
