The Story Goes

Ave- -
the story goes
Gabriel hails to Mary
yes she becomes God's
handmaid

Advent- -
we await him
in a world dark with sin
scion of the stock of Jesse
saviour

Christmas- -
the Virgin's son
brings joy into the world;
there in the hay lay her baby
the Christ

star bright- -
epiphany
when joy comes to the world
in a manger, the magi find
Jesus.
