Ave Ave Ave

ďI am the handmaid of the Lord,Ē Luke 1:38

If you pause a while,
Iíll tell you a story,
Of the worldís greatest mother;

Conceived with child,
Only for heavenís glory,
Espoused of God, the father;

ďYes,Ē without guile
Replied our Mary
Gentle maid, she won Godís favour;

Her faithful style,
We, daily remember,
And sing ave, ave, ave; of her.
