Spring

Spring

Small green sprouts bravely stretching,

Up from sleep to reach the sky.

Rows like soldiers, straight as arrows,

Soon will blossom, fragrance nigh.

Soft breeze blowing,

Sunlight showing,

Shadows creep across the grass.

Spring time romance in the air,

Bull frogs sing a lovely note.

Eagles soar above, but look,

Sunlight  shimmers, dancing outward,

On the water, spring is here.

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
