Seeds

Even the smallest seed planted,

Represents the hope of new life.

Plant your seeds of kindness, peace and love.

Though tiny and seemingly insignificant,

Their joy will guard from the days' strife.

Allowing weeds of discontent, gossip and complaint,

Also produce a crop, but of disdain.

Both are easily thrown,

Easily sown.

May I plant a seed everyday in His name,

Let these works be blessed as foreordained.

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
