A Meadow of Gladness
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Other Poems by Connie Centrella

I walk in a meadow of gladness,

Amidst a world of darkness and deep sadness.

My Shepherd stands guard,

With His staff and His rod.

I need only stay close and not wander away,

Even, then, my Shepherd will not let me stray.

The flowers are fragrant with His love and His presence,

It's His joy, His heart, His Strength, His very essence!

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
