The Cemetery
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

It is very peaceful here in the cemetery of my soul,

There's no strife for I die daily,

No sorrow with this death,

But the blessedness of being fully whole.

One Master, one Lord, an undivided mind and heart,

The cruel cross as seen as a blessing,

To put to death all, not just a part.

So lead on, Lord Jesus, my being wholly Thine.

Crucified with Thee and risen,

Now Your will, Your good, Your glory, not mine.

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
