An Anthem

An Anthem

Fill my mind with lovely thoughts,

As notes in an anthem of praise.

Expressed by words of kindness spoken,

As the sun disperses rays.

Whether spoken or silent the music lingers,

Between the curtains torn.

And I enter the gates to the Holy place,

Because Jesus has gone before.

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
