When Morning Dawns ...

When Morning Dawns

So many thoughts circling around,

In an endless, dizzying way.

Quietness is what I desire,

Contentedness of mind, I pray.

Let strivings cease,

Please give me peace.

From early morning until the end of the day,

Let Your grace and goodness lead the way.

"When morning dawns and evening fades, He calls forth songs of joy."

*I can't seem to find this verse.

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
