Alpine Heights
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Up on the alpine heights,

The air is fresh and sweet.

Above the world and its cares,

That's where we all must meet.

We humbly bow before Him,

He assures us of His care.

We thank Him for His comfort,

We breathe the holy air.

This fellowship continues,

Although we must descend.

To live among the wreckage,

The results bad choices send.

May we live above the darkness,

Always walking in the light.

May our fellowship continue,

Though we walk in darkest night.

*I work in an urban school and at times it is very dark.

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
