Yesterday's Tomorrow

Yesterday's Tomorrow

Today is just yesterday's tomorrow,

Where grace flows freely from His throne.

But tomorrow is void of any grace,

Because His will is yet to be known.

No word has been spoken,

There's no writing on the page,

The score has no notes,

There are no actors on stage.

But the curtain will rise,

And the music be given.

His grace will flow once again,

To enable holy, peaceful living.

My grace is sufficient, but just for today,

You may well be in heaven when this night becomes day.

About the Poet
I've been a Christian for over 40 years and am continually thankful for Jesus' friendship and care. I'm married and have three grown children. I also have two grandsons and three granddaughters. Praise God! My prayer is that God would use these simple poems to encourage you in your walk with the Lord.
