I Need Jesus, the Prince of Peace

I need Jesus, the Prince of Peace,

His blood does settle me in victory,

Always His love I taste, I enjoy His Word.

The light of His mercy illumines me,

No more blindness along my way, hallelujah!

With confidence in Him I glorify the Lord,

Wonderful is the name of Jesus, our Savior,

He is our hope when great anguish arises.

I need His grace to see how faithful Jesus is,

Daily walking in righteousness, joy abounds.

I can overcome fear with strength from above,

His Spirit He sends to help me deal with my struggle;

Never I am alone, Jesus blows peace to my heart.

My soul is thirst if His eternal love far from me,

Today Jesus gives me freedom, no longer I�m slave of sin;

Though wretch I am, He binds me with His mercy.

My true friend is Jesus now and forever,

Amen! In joy or pain I can praise my Savior always.
