Jesus, My Comforter When Anguish

Jesus, My Comforter When Anguish Multiplies

Jesus, my comforter when anguish multiplies,

His hands hug me, the rivers of joy I can see!

Though in deep despair and feel abandoned,

To my Saviour I always want to be faithful.

Jesus has paid all my debt through His blood,

This precious gift relieves my wounded heart.

His love is with me, my fear I lay before Him;

My soul belongs to Him, I’m saved today!

Satisfied my soul when I turn to Jesus;

He’s the living water in the desert,

Flowing again and again, He gives life!

By faith His beautiful plan I tread without fear,

Has God designed me to glorify His name,

Friends may leave, yet His love remains.

Touched I am everytime He speaks to me,

Firm in His Word, His mercy helps me to withstand;

In quietness, His mighty power strengthens me.

Whenever I trust in Jesus, I can beat the world,

To Jesus I surrender my weakness, and victory I gain!
