Brethen, Have You Asked the Lord’s Joy?

Brethen, have you asked the Lord’s joy?

It’s the most valuable treasure in your life,

From the fountain of God’s mercy it flows.

When we ask the Lord’s guidance, His joy descends,

Jesus is here, we thank Him for His lovingkindness.

God’s presence is our only source of joy, amen!

Brethen, are you carrying your own burden?

The Lord’s joy is for those who are heavy laden,

On His great mercy shall the weary souls rejoice.

Let Jesus with His goodness fill you heart,

Your emptiness is no more when His joy thrills.

Gentle Jesus desires to cheer up the poor and needy,

We’re happy today since His glory is manifested!
