My Jesus Died to Break My Chains

My Jesus Died to Break My Chains

Hallelujah! My Jesus died to break my chains,

Now and forever His precious child I am;

No longer Im bound by the shadows of darkness.

Walking by faith, I meet Jesus every day,

Into His presence I enter, sweet communion begins,

Jesus wants to befriend me though weak Im.

I thank Him for His cleansing blood for my soul;

At Calvary the shout of victory heard, Im redeemed!

Have I left my sinful life, and turn to His amazing grace,

Jesus has risen! Thats why my heart rejoices in Him.

I live in His wonderful love, in His image I shine,

Brighter and brighter is life since on His Word I rely.

The clouds of joy fill my days; peace of God is mine,

No more anguish or grief, my burdens has Jesus borne.

Glory to the Highest! May God be glorified in my life.
