Jesus, how precious is my weary soul!

Always You’re near in deep distress;

My burdens You bear with Your gentleness,

In my weakness the Fountain of life You are!

Never Your gracious love rejects You child;

All may leave me yet Your great care stays,

Your faithfulness touches me in the darkness!

Being in Your presence, my heart rejoices;

Each day is a blessing, fearless along my way.

The turmoil sinks, how Your goodness shines!

Mine is the sweet relief amid the storms,

My hands You hold, my bitterness is gone;

Jesus, my strength comes only from You!

Today on Your mercy I rely, my life You sustain,

My fellowship with You, so deep and meaningful!

Your grace keeps flowing, no more emptiness;

Life is always beautiful in Your joy and peace,

Precious Jesus, my refuge You are whatever befalls!
