Friendship with the Lord

Friendship with the Lord is very beautiful,

Jesus died to set me free from the darkness.

No more fear as long as His love be with me,

His glory shines though all abandon me here.

God is good whenever I need His help, amen!

To His grace I cling, every day in His presence.

Friendship with the Lord is very meaningful,

I find great joy when to His throne I come.

My burdens Jesus bears, His faithfulness endures,

His Word feeds my hungry soul wherever I am.

I may lose everything yet His love accepts me!

There is comfort in deep despair, O my good Father.

My soul adores Jesus since He always befriends me,

How precious I am for the Lord! My heart sings.

He paints His wondrous love, each day is bright,

The True Light shines in my fellowship with the Lord!
