Jesus Gives Hope to My Broken Heart

Jesus gives hope to my broken heart,

My weary soul is alive in His love;

No more emptiness as my joy multiplies!

The pain that I feel sinks in His grace,

Now His faithfulness becomes my light.

Thanks to His Word, it heals my wounds;

Gentle Jesus helps me in my suffering,

Greater is His mercy in deep despair.

I sing praises to Jesus, my Redeemer,

My peace overflows amid the storms!

Jesus, the Solid Rock does strengthen me,

Lovely days are mine though nobody cares.

The shadows of death surrounds me daily,

Yet fearless I am, Jesus hears my prayers!

From His glorious throne He reaches me;

When I lose all, there is true love that rings.

Jesus kisses me with His joy and peace;

Always I feel secure since He is with me!

Yes, it is wonderful that we can be secure in Christ Jesus even when surrounded by those who do not believe in Him and do not seem to have any love for us. "Always I feel secure since He is with me!"

Kumala, what a wonderful poem of God's love no matter what happens in our lives. Jesus is ALWAYS there - this is greater security than anything Earth can give. What a lovely praise poem. Blessings always to you.
