Jesus, the Star That Guides My Step

Jesus, the star that guides my step,

Though I am weak, His love stays within,

My heart leaps for joy since He is faithful.

When the wave of sorrow strikes me heard,

Never do I lose hope, sufficient always is His grace!

The mountain that is too steep now I can climb

For Jesus carries me when burdens are overwhelming.

The light of His mercy saves me from the darkest night,

Each day I begin my day with praise and thanksgiving;

In His comfort I always can enjoy every moment.

Despair can�t enter because He�s the king o�er my heart,

My weary soul Jesus takes care with His amazing love;

Peaceful is today under God�s hand that keeps me.

My true friend is Jesus; even He�s more than the closest,

I want to sing and rest since His promises are true!
