Jesus, the most beautiful melody for my heart,

He speaks gently; awake is my soul for Him;

My heart troubles, yet He adds His mercies.

I sing for Jesus instead of sinking in sadness

For His great love painted in my broken soul,

My life is full of joy when in His presence I abide.

My frustration ends with abundant grace of God,

Amazing love He shows to the sinner such as I;

Today for His glory I work, in His Word I trust.

The past that hurts has Jesus borne at Calvary,

There�s hope for tomorrow as I live with Jesus;

Leaning on Jesus, my life has its tune again!

Always I see that He cares in all situations,

Jesus wants to walk besides me, He�s my guide;

The steps that I take then are the steps of faith.

His cleansing blood is so meaningful to me,

To Jesus I bring my heart, His salvation chimes!
