I Choose Jesus

I choose Jesus, not precious jewels.

Beautiful is the redemption story,

Sweetly echoing in my heart;

Mine soul gets relief, my sickness is gone.

Jesus came, and all become bright,

Along the way His love does shine;

Humbly I say ĎI love You, Jesusí.

I choose Jesus, not my own glory.

Sink all my pride in His deep love,

Have I promised before His cross

To live according to His blessed will.

With my heart I shout for the Lord,

Along the way His faithfulness I see,

Humbly I say ĎJesus, I love You moreí

I choose Jesus, the Living Word.

Happy Iím when His love touched me,

I cried holy when His blood washed me away,

His eternal peace never leaves me.

Secure day and night in Godís embrace,

From the Fatherís mercy I was reborn,

Joyfully I say ĎJesus, I need You always!í
