Jesus, My Humble Savior

The darkness trembles at my Savior’s feet;

Hallelujah rings amid the turmoil that I face.

Jesus shows compassion to His loving child,

His care can overcome the anguish that I feel!

Heavenly melodies chime, His light guides me,

Whatever befalls, His love reigns in my heart.

In His everlasting arms, my soul can sing;

Jesus keeps me safe, no more fear today!

Amen! My tears He changes into great joy;

He holds my hands, He bears my weaknesses.

In joy or pain His love does reach my soul,

I’m not alone, my days are filled with His peace.

Mine eyes Jesus illuminates with His Word,

The beauty of the Lord makes everything bright!

My humble Savior is heart to heart with me,

Daily I render praises to Jesus, my Redeemer.

His lowly heart deeply touches my sick soul,

Never I’m down since Jesus is beside me.

Yes, how His love draws me to His throne!
