The Proof Of Walking In Darkness

The Proof Of Walking In Darkness

The proof of walking in darkness
Is the known rejection of the Son
For Jesus Christ is the Light of the world
For He..has turned earth's lights on
Let there be light and light there was
As earth obeyed its Maker
The Bible says that all things that were made were made through Christ
Our God...our precious Lord and Saviour

So check your heart according to that light
Do you believe in evolution
Don't go making a monkey out of yourself
When Christ is the whole
world's solution
Has God said?...the father of lies
Still proclaims today...
Who wrote the bible anyways?
He causes men to say

He knows that they won't read it
Because of such a miniscule excuse
And therefore men will go to Hell
Because Satan's voice they choose
Where do you think your excuses come from
For you from truth to make a departure
Give your mind a quick reflection
I pray that you won't be blind here

Because men walk in darkness
Because of the rejection of God's Word
Doesn't diminish the truth of it
Nor diminish the truth that you've heard
How can God get through to your heart
Unless you see your heart's real need
Friend the Bible is God's Manual for Life
Life and the true Light indeed!!!

What's your top priority friend
For your agenda for today
Have you given your soul's destiny much thought at all
Or has Satan dismissed it again today
God is Light!...Hallelujah for that!
Look around and enjoy His nature
But to enjoy your God such as He wants you too
There has to be a change here

Our heart's are in desperate need of deep repair
That's why we have God's instruction manual
Check out the Bible while you still can
And come to know Him as Immanuel
The Light of the world is Jesus Christ
Have you not yet let Him in
Time is of the essence here
If not...you'll die in your sin!

For God so loved the world my friend
That He gave of His only begotten Son
When you believe and trust in Him
The light in your soul will come on
Then you will be translated from the kingdom of darkness
Into the kingdom of God's glorious Light
Turn ye..turn ye...why will ye die
Awake!...and turn on the Light!!!

About the Poet
I came to know the Lord as my personal Saviour in January of 1972. I was married on Oct 21,1966 to my wife Linda who also loves the Lord. We have ten children and now twenty-four grand children. In Aug 2012 we got the announcement of the birth of our first GREAT grand child (a baby girl). I was thrilled to find others of like precious faith and belief in Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! What a Savior! I am presently living in Champion, Alberta, Canada but we are originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. That is where the poem Canadian Tribute to America was birthed. One Sunday as I walked across the city on my way to church I came to the top of a hill and looked across at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. After watching the events of the Sept 11 tragedy it was weighing on my heart and mind and the Lord gave me these words. We came to Calgary and when my oldest daughter saw this poem she said, Dad, whats this? and I said a poem and she replied Dad, thats not a poem , thats a song and she then went to the piano and began to sing and play it. The result of which turned into a song entitled, A Canadian Tribute to America which she recorded on CD. garyjamessmith2005@yahoo.ca
