Alive Inside

By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

Brilliant red poinsettia whispers beauty unseen

Upon the kitchen table sitting cheerful lovely

Fake it is and so was I

Until Christ Jesus shined His brilliant light

Now alive I stand this Christmastide

Jesus took all sins whispered life inside

God's beauty bathed achiever forever seen

Singing songs of praises until eternity

Fake to believer alive inside

Real is Jesus' blood, brilliant Christ red tide

Living water was born at Christmas time

Brilliant was the skies as angels sang God's delight

The Saviour has come what a wondrous sight
