Kaleidoscope Trees
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

Kaleidoscope blazing colors
Crows cawing welcomes
Dewdrops from Heaven
Sprinkles lightly mist
Upon kaleidoscope trees
Calico cat covered dewdrops
Tracking across a cleanly mopped floor
Still a smile appears upon a tired face
Clean floors come and go around this place
What seems the most important fact
Is the beauty of this brand-new day
Another chance has risen through God's grace
Honor Him with thanks for this glorious day
Caw out welcomes of how Christ can save
Risen to Heaven an amazing place
Christ is dewdrops from Heaven
Lighting up kaleidoscope trees
Puts a smile on the face
From grateful knees
