Be Aware
© By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

Awareness stirs humid air, as the mourning dove appears
Mournful coo beckons be aware, God is present says the air
The mourning dove flies whistling be aware, praises flare
God in all His greatness, sends this sound into His sphere
The visible heavens calls a soul, paradise God will endear
The invisible eternity mourns with the dove
God will carry on wings of love, all of His beloved
The mourning dove seems restless, in the hot humid air
While this child of God is awed, by His presence everywhere
