Love Stays the Course
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

Without love in my heart
I'm nothing, just flapping jaws
Full of too much talk
Without love in my heart
All the good things I do
Amount to a pile of nothing
Fit for the trash heap

With love in my soul
I'll endure God's course feeling whole
With love I'll never fail or be stopped
Always touching others God's love drop
Dropping love from the kindest heart
Rejoicing in His truth gladly doing my part
Never puffed up parading with evil
Always searching to love more people
Desiring God's spiritual gifts
While I'm still able
