The Grandfather Clock
By: Laurie Ragan Jenkins

The grandfather clock
Loudly ticks with fatherly love
Majestic olden days gone by
Godly families come and go
Kneeling to the Father's love
The grandfather clock ticks above
Souls embraced within His touch
This Fatherly love means so much
Take flight around the realms of earth
Seeing Christ, seeing birth
Memories precious ticks time away
How long on this earth to stay
Only the Father in Heaven knows
Where the grandfather clock keeps ticking on
A heavenly reality, death is merely beginning to be
Souls embraced with God for eternity
His pendulum is Fatherly love ticking
