Lasting Friendship
I must admit I'm growing old, yet Though the years have come and gone You still reach out with heart of gold And our friendship lingers on. Writer, speaker, grandmother too, Loved for all your winsome ways Those quiet hours I spend with you Never fail to make my day. We both recall when ties were forged Those busy days of long ago, Even now, they hold us close And we will never let them go.
