Treasured Memories

Treasured Memories

The sad day came; we said goodbye
You soared beyond the summer sky
Out of our sight, now far apart
Yet always we are joined in heart.

Up there today, by God's kind hand
You view the beauty of that land.
You breathe the sweet ethereal air,
And see the One who brought you there.

Some day we'll share what means so much,
Until that time we'll keep in touch.
In all our days 'til life is through,
We'll treasure memories of you.
