A Cup of Hot Tea

A Cup of Tea

Tired and weary
At long day's end
A cup of hot tea
I'll drink with my friend.
I find the door open
The water is hot,
This cup of herbal
Will just hit the spot.
Morning or evening,
She just seems to know when
I need the deep comfort
Of having tea with a friend.

A Cup of Hot Tea (c)2001 Eleanor W. Cunningham
