Lead Me on

    LEAD ME ON

It is the end of the old
and the start of a new year.
Lessons learned, trials faced,
tried in faith, I have endured.

God, please lead me on,
Thy will, will be done.
And thank You for bringing
me safe thus far.

With You, I am at peace,
and no longer worry,
putting my trust in You,
I know, all will be well.

God bless the past,
God bless the present,
God bless the future,

For without the past,
I would not be in the present.
And without the present,
I would not have a future.

"Grace to you and peace from God
our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ."
    (Philemon 1:3) NIV

About the Poet
Born on October 24, 1939, I was one of seven children. I am now a mother of seven grown children, grandmother of 18, widow, and writer for the past 50 years mostly poetry. Day care provider of many years, now retired. Three poetry books published, but no longer in print, several little poem books self published. Published in local newspapers, several magazines and daily devotionals. My faith, family and writing poetry has brought me thus far.
