         I Forgive Them

Yes, I was falsely accused, too.
Sadly, by people I loved.
They hung me on a cross
with people I loved below me.

Yet, through it all, I forgave them,
     as I still do now.
The hardest part is by my example,
     you must follow
And...forgive all those who
     trespass against you.

Never stand in judgement
of each other.
Please, leave that to me,
for my will, will be done.

"Casting all your care upon Him;
for He cares for you."(1 Peter 5:7)

About the Poet
Born on October 24, 1939, I was one of seven children. I am now a mother of seven grown children, grandmother of 18, widow, and writer for the past 50 years mostly poetry. Day care provider of many years, now retired. Three poetry books published, but no longer in print, several little poem books self published. Published in local newspapers, several magazines and daily devotionals. My faith, family and writing poetry has brought me thus far.
