Dick

Dick was a classmate of mine

At North LIma High School in Ohio

He was the only child of the superintendent of schools

Very active in sports and class activities

President of our Senor Class of 24 or 25

Not too much in common the two of us

But we headed off to Ohio University together

That was a most interesting quarter

We had some good times and bad

For me the university was just too large

I felt lost in the huge crowd of students

Didn't have the spiritual support I much needed

Dick and I parted ways

Until recent years when we have renewed

Friendship

Dick moved into a retirement home after he lost

His beautiful and charming wife

From California to Idaho near some of his children

Dick it is so good to have this tie to my highschool life

He is doing very well after some personal severe illness

And the death of his dear wife

May God bless you old friend
