The End of Your Rope

The End of Your Rope

Windswept hearts filled with woe,
people worried with nowhere to go,
torrents of gloom, surges of sorrow,
suffering today, concerned for tomorrow!
when your dreams become a nightmare,
in a tidal wave of despair,

call upon the Lord, He's our hope,
when you're at the end of your rope!
Jesus died to give us new life,
and free us from stress and strife.
His hand is open, so grab on,
with God's peace, fear is gone!

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
