Inside Out

Glorious Spirit of the living God
shine brilliantly I pray,
upon your weary children
who follow and obey.

Guide our tired feet,
support our fragile frames,
brush us off, renew,
and strengthen us each day!

Turn us inside out Lord,
search us thoroughly,
expose the imperfections
our mortal eyes can't see.

Continue to refine us
so we will glow for You,
not just on the outside
but on the inside too!

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
