The Voice of Mary Magdalene

The Voice of Mary Magdalene

His yester-breath belies my breathing..
I tear for Him, my lost my love;
So long departed, cold skinned brave hearted
Whither went my sweet, my love?

I turn, His warmth is there, behind me...
Glowing visage, posture straight;
His smile, the smile of a million angels
His head aloft in monkly grace...

Stippled leaf light,dimples dappled,
Eyes mesmeric, wise of face;
Ripples creep my tear dry sockets
I stumble to retrieve my pace..

"Speak to me my own my sweet love
You are not where you should be... !"
With quickened breath he whispers "Mary..."
I start, I sob... "MY Rabboni...!!"
