Strings

He pulls the strings.
We know not what the morrow brings.
He pulls the strings.

He sets the stage. He tweaks the lights .
He scripts our days
from page to page; our happy plights.
Our faith, our fates and fortunes cling.
He pulls the strings...

And when one day the curtains fray,
He knocks the green, applauds the play
then takes us back to bright lit planks
to bow in thanks to heavenly strings!
On earthy soil or starry flings
He pulls the strings.
