Divine Telepathy

Divine Telepathy

I sorrowed till my heart filled-up
With pain within my chest;
I tried in vain to name this pain
That would not give me rest.

Why loneliness had hold of me
I failed to understand;
It was as though my fickle heart
Were homesick for Some Land.

It was as though I yearned to see
The face I held most dear;
To gaze into those timeless eyes
And hold that loved one near.

I'd never missed someone so much
Nor longed for someone more;
And yet the one I ached to see
I'd never seen before

How could I long to see someone
That I had yet to see?
Could it have been that it was then
My Lord was missing *me*?

--Connie

"and though you have not seen Him,
you love Him..."

(I Peter 1:8, NASB)

About the Poet
IN MEMORIAM I'm just a servant of the Lord that wants to magnify Him through poetry, and to cause others to focus on Him.
