I'm learning foreign language now,
It's called computerese...
From "Byte" to "Baud" to "CD Rom"
And "Modem," if you please.

I'm more PC-linguistic now,
At first the words seemed odd...
Like "IBM Thinkpads
Networking at 56k baud."

Or "DVD Recordable
Write/Rewrite" hardware...
And "dub-dub-dub" or "webhost"
Or "computer down-repair."

I'm getting quite proficient now,
I download till I doze...
And everywhere that Connie is,
Her "Dummies" manual goes.

Each day you'll find me on the Web,
My mind is in a tizzy...
Don't try to phone from 9 till numb,
My line is always busy.

A power-user? Well, not quite,
But, hey! I ain't no flunky...
A keyboard wizard STILL ONLINE,
A real computer junkie!

About the Poet
IN MEMORIAM I'm just a servant of the Lord that wants to magnify Him through poetry, and to cause others to focus on Him.
