Sure 'n' If (St. Patty's)
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Other Poems by Connie Hinnen Cook

Sure 'n' if I'd a castle
with acres galore,
Just a wee spot of Heaven
on Ireland's fair shore...

Sure 'n' if wee folks showed me
a huge pot of gold,
'N' I had all the treasures
one castle could hold...

Sure 'n' if I had plenty
as to make rich folks green,
If the world craved my fortune,
tell me, what would it mean...

Sure, it all adds to nothin'
like the sun stealin' dew,
If I had this world's treasures
but I didn't have you!

-Connie-

"May your troubles be less
and your blessings be more ~
And nothing but happiness
come through your door."

About the Poet
IN MEMORIAM I'm just a servant of the Lord that wants to magnify Him through poetry, and to cause others to focus on Him.
