Easter's Song
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Easter's Song
Easter is a newborn time,
A time when nature sings;
A time for newborn colors,
A time for newborn wings.

A time when God renews in all
A hope for things to be;
When He looks down on nature
And says, "Now, sing of Me!"

"Paint My world in colors,
'Till every 'blue' bird sings;
Shout the joy of Easter:
That life My Spirit brings...

"For from a bleak, stark winter
I call life forth from earth;
To show from death's dark stronghold,
How I can bring new birth.

"For that's the Song of Easter:
That all who trust My Son
Will find when death has done its worst
That life is just begun!"

So join the song this Easter,
As nature bows her head;
For Easter is God's promise
To raise you from the dead!

"Behold, I make all things new."

About the Poet
IN MEMORIAM I'm just a servant of the Lord that wants to magnify Him through poetry, and to cause others to focus on Him.
